Upton Matters

Anti social Behaviour is rearing its ugly head all over Upton. Here is just another example: Mr. Briggs, who lives Upton Park Drive, has the misfortune to live next to a public pathway. Youths congregate and they drink, shout abusive language, graffiti his fence then smash it in and even steal things from his garden. The area has not been cleaned in years. Mr. Briggs cuts the grass verges on the footpath because the council doesn’t bother anymore, he puts up security lighting for his elderly neighbours and even repairs their fences. Is it too much to ask for these thugs to show him a little respect? As you can see in the video its really quite disgusting PS I have been in touch with council colleagues and we have asked Street scene to find a solution to the mess. They will be sending someone down to take a look shortly. I will keep you updated on progress made.
