The council has finally got its act together and cleared the footpath behind Upton Park Drive. Esther McVey and I visited there today to see that our requests over the last 6 months have finally been listened to. We met up with local champion Roy Briggs who was cutting the grass on the footpath which the council doesn’t bother to do anymore. Roy was really pleased that the area has been cleared up ad told us that the days of youths drinking and shouting are over and it is now a more pleasant place to live.
